Dear Montgomery Families,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Montgomery Elementary! I am thrilled to be continuing as principal of Montgomery as last school year was filled with many successes. Together, we reduced our chronic absenteeism from 22% to 11%, we successfully launched many after school programs through LEAD and both of our sports team made it to the district semifinals. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
As we continue our journey together, I want to emphasize the significance of the home-school connection. I firmly believe that a strong partnership between our school and our families is vital to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Research consistently shows that when this partnership is strong, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to continuing this work to positively impact our students.
Meet the Teacher Social Event!
Please join us on Tuesday, July 23rd from 1:00pm-2:30pm at Montgomery Elementary to meet your new classroom teacher! We will have free backpacks available on a first come, first served basis and a cool treat sponsored by our amazing PTO.
Schedule:
1st day of school:
- Wednesday, July 24th (Minimum Day)
- 8:00am -1:00 pm TK and Kindergarten
- 8:00am -1:15 pm 1st-6th Grade
TK and Kindergarten Modified Days:
Students in TK and Kindergarten will be on a modified schedule for the first 8 days of school.
- July 24-August 2nd
- 8am -1:00 pm
